Buck Moon Hike - July 10

Join us for a casual, 2 mile out-and-back hike on the Yellow Rock Loop at Devil's Den State Park, to enjoy the light of the full moon! We will be taking this hike nice and easy, to accommodate anyone who has any interest in experiencing this well-known trail at night, as well as relaxing at the overlook to enjoy the night sky. The trail is frequently traveled, well maintained, and rated as easy to moderate. There are multiple rocky sections, cliff ledges, steep inclines, and uneven surfaces. Grab your headlamp and join us for an after-dark hike!

When: July 10, 8:30 pm. We will be leaving from the North parking lot at Pack Rat AT 8:30. Please arrive early!
Where: Pack Rat Outdoor Center

Space is limited to 15 participants!

• Headlamp & water are required
• Anyone under 18 must have a legal guardian present
• No alcohol
  
• Refunds cannot be offered after the hike date. We can transfer you to another Full Moon Hike!

Suggested Items:

• Blanket, yoga mat, or chair to sit on
• Camera
• Materials for spotting constellations (maps, references materials, apps, etc)
