Straven is an insulated shorty swimsuit for unrestricted movement in the water without fear of the cold. Made with 2.5mm Yulex natural rubber with long sleeves and a boy-short style cut inspired by our bestselling swimwear. It's the best of both worlds for women who love the freedom and deep connection to the water that comes with a swimsuit, but want to stay in the water longer and continue to take the plunge throughout the colder months.

When the sun starts warming the air but the lakes are still freezing, swimmers hit a weird middle ground. A regular swimsuit can leave you feeling the chill but a full length wetsuit feels like overkill.

So we designed Straven - a long sleeve, boy-short style insulated swimsuit for year-round wild swimmers who love the feeling of cool water on your skin and the simplicity of a one-piece swimsuit, with just enough rubber to keep your core warm. A combination of stretchy Yulex rubber and a soft 100% recycled nylon face fabric feels great against the skin both on dry land and in the water; with a long rear zip for easy changing at the shoreline and reduced drag when swimming front crawl.

Find freedom in the water

Lightweight, flexible, fast-drying and ultra-packable; Straven is a great choice for amphibious days when the air's warm but the water bites back. Hike or bike up to hidden pools and mountain tarns and find freedom in the water. A brighter contrast sleeve colour aids visibility on longer open water adventures.

Super natural performance

We've designed the Straven using 2.5mm Yulex - a natural rubber foam from internationally certified deforestation-free sources. It's a plant-based alternative to traditional neoprene for swimmers who refuse to compromise between comfort, performance and the planet.
