The goal of the Elite X4 was simply to make their best stem yet in any category. They accomplished that through an elite combination of low weight and high durability thanks to their 7000 series aluminum. It is lighter and stiffer than a lot of Thomson’s less sturdy stems but can take more punishment than the typical road stem. A new steer clamp designs shaves off precious grams without using any welds that cause worry of breaking. This stem can be used for a wide range of riding styles.
